The Roads and Transport Authority intends to merge the currently separate bus and tram stops at Kattenturm-Mitte into a single stop for buses and trams. The merger of the stops aims to simplify the previously cumbersome and time-consuming transfers, especially for people with mobility impairments. The new layout of the tracks for bus traffic creates new crossing options over the rail installations, allowing for reduced travel times.
