The ÖBB (hereinafter the Contracting Authority, abbreviated AG) is seeking a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution for automatic journey recognition using customers' smartphones. Journey recognition essentially involves the automatic recording of accurate distances travelled by users of, among others, public transport (Tracking), the systematic identification of the actual journeys and relations used, based on the timetable, in public transport (Mapping), as well as additional functions such as the recognition of the means of transport, or mode of travel, for better differentiation (Transport Mode Detection) and state-of-the-art Fraud Detection.
