Finland – Works for complete or part construction and civil engineering work – Vt 12 Mankala-Jokue, Iitti, ST-urakka, osallistumispyyntö

The Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency invites tenders for the construction contract "Vt 12 Mankala-Jokue, Iitti, ST-Contract". The contract includes design and construction to the extent defined in the tender notice and its attachments. The contract will implement the second project phase of the Vt 12 Mankala-Tillola project between Mankala and Jokue. The project area is located on the busy section of National Road 12 connecting Lahti and Kouvola, which is a nationally and internationally important east-west link. National Road 12 is a crucial part of Finland's primary road network (service class I) and is part of the TEN-T network. It serves national east-west traffic and is an important link for business transport. The contract includes the improvement of National Road 12 in the municipality of Iitti, between Mankala and Jokue. The national road will be partially improved to its current location and partially to an unpaved area. The new road alignment will deviate from the current road east of Mankala and cross the Lahti–Kouvola railway with a new bridge. The new road alignment will join the current road at Halkkorven. The section between Halkkorven and Jokue will remain largely unchanged. The contract is a comprehensive design and build contract (ST-Contract).
