This procurement procedure aims to equip the industrial areas with a demand-oriented gigabit broadband supply in the Rhein-Pfalz-Kreis. The subject of the concession is therefore the supply of all underserved demand points with a sustainable and high-performance telecommunications infrastructure (gigabit network). The earmarking period is 7 years. The concession in question comprises 9 industrial areas. The tender is divided into 9 lots. The granting authority has submitted applications for the special call of 15.11.2018 for the "Promotion of infrastructure projects in industrial and commercial areas as well as in ports". The preliminary grant notices of 21.09.2020, amended on 17.12.2024, or amendment notices of 20.06.2025 and 27.03.2026 per lot are already available. This financial support serves to establish a comprehensive high-performance broadband supply and is intended to close an economic gap.
