Germany – Underground work other than tunnels, shafts and subways – FAU Umbau Knoten Suedost

The construction project includes the development of a new car park on the premises of the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, including the reconstruction of traffic areas in the Kurt-Schumacher-Straße, Cauerstraße, Schottkystraße and Erwin-Rommel-Straße. The tender includes all necessary civil engineering, road construction and pipeline works for site clearance, media re-routing and traffic reorganisation. Main quantities: ca. 460 m new construction and renovation of mixed water channels, ca. 690 m new installation of TW, BW and VE water pipes, ca. 190 m new installation of gas pipes, ca. 220 m district cooling pipes, ca. 7,200 m² asphalt surface courses, ca. 1,650 m² footpaths and cycle paths in asphalt construction, ca. 1,630 m² concrete paving, ca. 830 m lighting cables with 24 new lighting columns, ca. 940 m 20-kV cables, ca. 470 m optical fibre cables and ca. 360 m cable protection pipes. New construction of a traffic light system (with cable and shaft construction).
