Germany – Construction project management services – Sanierung Ebene 01 des GW2 der Uni Bremen - Projektsteuerung

The University of Bremen intends to renovate the "Geisteswissenschaften 2" (GW2) building, which was constructed in the 1970s. The subject of this tender is the project management services for the renovation of Level 1 of GW2. Level 01 primarily contains offices and event spaces. There is a non-binding concept study available, which was created based on a partial renovation of the level that was originally planned. A partial hazardous substance register has also been created for Level 01, which is currently being updated. The investigation revealed, among other things, asbestos and man-made mineral fibres. The overall structural condition of the building is precarious in terms of fire protection. This affects, among other things, the construction of drywall walls or technical systems. Since, due to the contamination, the walls and ceilings can only be upgraded with disproportionate effort, the construction area will be gutted and rebuilt, taking into account all fire protection criteria. The planning services for the building and technical equipment will be tendered in parallel with this procedure. According to a first cost estimate, the total project costs amount to approximately 12,000,000 EUR gross.
