The Salem Education Centre is operated as a comprehensive school. The building was originally constructed in the 1970s and partially renovated and expanded in the following years. The existing roofs were designed as so-called roll-welded stainless steel roofs and have been leaking for years. The cause of the leaks could not be determined. The roof waterproofing, including greening and PV system, will be newly installed.
