Germany – Architectural, engineering and planning services – Duisburg Radschnellverbindung RS 1, Linksrheinischer Abschnitt - Faunistische Planungsraumanalyse (FPA)

The Radschnellweg RS 1 extends over a total route length of approximately 100 kilometres between Duisburg and Hamm and is characterised by special quality standards for cycling. It thus represents an important step towards improving a sustainable mobility offer in the Ruhr Metropolis. In the Duisburg urban area, the cycle path currently runs along existing and disused railway tracks as well as over municipal infrastructure. The City of Duisburg intends to award the service "Faunistic Planning Area Analysis" for the left bank section, which runs from Duisburger Straße/Emmericher Straße to Moers, Asberger Straße. There are different route variants for the investigation area, some of which pass through a nature reserve.
