The provision of Project Management for the new office and training building on Gilze Rijen Air Base. The new building for the Royal Netherlands Air Force will house office and training spaces, as well as supporting facilities. The building is part of the CLRS (Command Air and Space Forces) on Defence premises. The training spaces include, in particular, spaces to prepare for primary operations. The main tasks of the project manager are described in the annex ‘22606 - ABAA DNR - X-list – Project Management’ and in the annex ‘22606 – ABAA DNR – Statement of Work’. The project manager will manage the project in accordance with the UAV and represent the Contracting Authority during the implementation and aftercare phases of the project. The starting point for the implementation are the RAW and Stabu specifications based on the UAV. The building to be realised comprises approximately 8,000 m2 BVO (approximately 45 x 100 m1). The new building partly consists of 2 storeys with a basement. The main load-bearing structure consists of concrete and wood, the building envelope must be built as an EMD shell: according to the principles of the ‘Faraday cage’ – the retention of electromagnetic radiation. The new building mainly concerns a building with complex installations for cooling, ventilation and measurement and control technology. The electrical installations mainly consist of: high and low voltage installation, data, fire safety and electronic security installation.
