The municipality of Bad Waldsee intends to construct a multi-storey connecting building between the administrative buildings at Ravensburger Straße 1 and Ravensburger Straße 3, in close proximity to the Historic Town Hall. The aim of the measure is to create a central and clearly recognisable entrance area, to improve orientation for citizens, and to provide barrier-free access to all usage levels of the two administrative buildings. Furthermore, spatial optimisation of the existing areas is planned, which is to be achieved through reorganisation and minor structural measures. The connecting building is to accommodate an elevator to connect the six existing storeys, an additional staircase as an escape route, public barrier-free sanitary facilities on the ground floor, and additional office space on the upper floors. In addition, proposals for improved integration of the building at Ravensburger Straße 1 with the Historic Town Hall (Hauptstraße 29) are to be developed. The organisation of all office units in the building is to be reviewed and, if necessary, adjusted. The connecting building is located in a building gap and adjoins existing buildings on three sides. The estimated total costs for the connecting building amount to approximately 1,45 million € gross, for cost groups 300, 400 and 700. For cost groups 300 and 400, approximately 1,2 million € gross is anticipated. Planning is to commence immediately upon instruction; completion is scheduled for mid-2028. The subject of the VgV procedure are services for building design pursuant to §§ 33-37 for performance phases 1-8 and 9 in accordance with HOAI 2021 and structural design pursuant to §§ 49-52 for performance phases 1-6 and site supervision as a special service for the new construction of a connecting building between the buildings at Ravensburger Straße 3 and Ravensburger Straße 1, as well as the optional roof renovation of the building at Ravensburger Straße 1. Furthermore, spatial optimisation of the existing areas is planned, which is to be achieved through reorganisation and minor structural measures. A phased commissioning is planned.
