Netherlands – IT services: consulting, software development, Internet and support – Concurrentie gerichte dialoog managed private cloud

The scope of this procurement consists of two (2) parts: 1. Setting up landing zone (virtualisation infrastructure) and ‘as is’ migration of the current virtual machines and associated data. 2. Transition to managed private cloud and shift to service take-up. The subject contract in this procurement represents an estimated contract value of € 16.350.000,00 exclusive of VAT (based on the entire duration of ten (10) years) consisting of two (2) parts: 1. Setting up landing zone and ‘as is’ migration of current virtual machines and associated data: o One-off costs: € 800.000,00 o Annual costs: € 1.200.000,00 2. The transition to managed private cloud and shift to service take-up: o One-off: € 50.000,00 o Annual: € 350.000,00 Note: • For the above contract value estimate, the contracting authority, in addition to the one-off costs, assumes annual costs calculated over the entire duration of the Agreement, because the contracting authority cannot accurately assess the transition and overlap of the contract parts in advance. In reality, the contract value is therefore lower; • It is expected that -during the duration of the Agreement- the ratio of annual costs between part 1 and part 2 will change/shift as the transition progresses. As described in the transition strategy, this transition will take place in phases and per application. For some of the applications that are initially hosted on a virtual machine, it applies that they will be phased out/will be taken up as a SaaS application and will therefore lapse as such. There is therefore a net reduction in annual costs to be expected.
