Germany – Architectural and related services – Max-Planck-Institut zur Erforschung multireligiöser und multiethnischer Gesellschaften (Göttingen) - Sanierung Haus 11: Objektplanung Gebäude
Description
The property of the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Religious and Ethnic Diversity in Göttingen comprises three buildings: a historic villa at Hermann-Föge-Weg 12, and on the opposite side of the street, a building from the 1950s (G 11-A) with an extension from the 1970s (G 11-N), both at Hermann-Föge-Weg 11. The building G 11-N has been vacant since January 2019 due to significant fire safety deficiencies. As an interim solution, office containers were erected on the property at Hermann-Föge-Weg 12a with an approved duration of use until 08.11.2030. As part of the planned measure, the building G 11-N, constructed in a steel frame, is to be gutted, upgraded to meet fire safety standards, and expanded. A hazardous material remediation in the black area must be carried out. The facade and roof must be energetically optimized. Office use with communication areas and a library is planned. In the preliminary design, it must be clarified from a building law perspective whether the building can be structurally extended. In addition, clarification with the city of Göttingen regarding the preservation ordinance must be obtained. Furthermore, as part of the measure, the facade of building G 11-A (double-skin masonry construction with facing masonry) is to be energetically upgraded and its appearance changed so that the two buildings G 11-A and G 11-N (post-and-beam facade) form a visually uniform and harmonious ensemble. After the renovation, the internal connection of both buildings, which was severed due to fire safety deficiencies, is to be restored. The office containers must be dismantled in good time before the end of the validity period of the building permit, and a move into building G-11-N must be ensured. Due to the tight schedule, the project is to be executed according to Lean Management methods. A BNB Silver certification is being targeted. The service is to be offered accordingly. A BNB coordinator will be commissioned. The subject of this VgV tendering procedure are the necessary services of "Building Design" according to § 34 in conjunction with Appendix 10 of the HOAI 2021 in the LPH 2 to 9, plus special services.
