Denmark – Sewage, refuse, cleaning and environmental services – Transport, sortering og genanvendelse af Mad- og drikkevarekartoner (MDK) udsorteret fra ARCs sorteringsanlæg

The contract covers the transport, sorting and recycling of beverage cartons (MDK). The MDK waste has been collected as part of the residual waste from households in Copenhagen Municipality, Frederiksberg Municipality and Tårnby Municipality and then sorted at the sorting plant at Amager Ressourcecenter (ARC). It is expected that the sorting plant will be commissioned in the 4th quarter of 2026 and will be fully operational within six months. When the plant is taken into operation, four waste types will be sorted: Beverage Cartons, Plastics, Paper/Paperboard and Metal.
