Project management for the upgrading of fire protection (uPVA) at the S-Bahn station FFM Taunusanlage. The implementation of the fire protection upgrade concerns various trades. The following is a brief, but not exhaustive, list that illustrates the complexity:

- Renewal of electrical conduits in the platform, under the ceiling, and to the upper floors

- Renewal of emergency lighting (preliminary measure)

- Renewal of fire alarm systems

- Adaptation and dismantling of ventilation ducts

- Structural creation of new fire compartments

- Modified control and retrofitting in the area of elevators and escalators

- Installation of voice alarm system (SAA)

- Renewal of wayfinding systems including pictograms and escape route markings

- Adaptation of smoke extraction systems

- Relocation and new installation of GA, IT/TK infrastructure

- Construction of stair enclosures to ensure escape routes

- Separation of drinking and fire-fighting water

- Renewal of hydrant system

- Renewal of NEAs

- Upgrading of smoke extractor fans

- As required: creation of a smoke curtain in the area of the stair enclosures (depending on the development of passenger numbers)

- Assessment and implementation of the topic: pressure equalisation in the transformer and medium-voltage rooms (arc faults)

- Renewal of the central ventilation system in the station (currently under review)

Therefore, the premise is the "implementation of optimal fire protection measures taking into account the protection objectives and the respective optimal best combination of structural, technical and organisational fire protection."
