II.2.4)Description of the procurement:

The scope of the contract includes the construction of a new switch (Y-Weiche) for the H-Bahn system in the main section of the Y-Weichen Stammstrecke H-Bahn. The H-Bahn is a driverless, fully automated transit system that operates on a 13.5-kilometer-long route. The new switch will be installed in the main section of the Y-Weichen Stammstrecke H-Bahn, which is located in the campus area of the RWTH Aachen University. The new switch will be used to connect the existing H-Bahn tracks to new tracks, allowing for more flexible and efficient operation of the H-Bahn system.
