The present contract aims to study the functioning and practices carried out by in-house, external and shared prevention services in Spain in relation to occupational risk assessment activities and health surveillance, as well as to develop recommendations to optimise these processes. The absence of previous studies or other indicators or evidence that allow for an understanding of the current practices of prevention services in relation to occupational risk assessment and health surveillance activities underpins the need to carry out this contract, in order to comply with the provisions of Law 31/1995 on Occupational Risk Prevention and Law 33/2011, General Public Health Act.
