For the operation of the overseas office in the ASEAN region, the International Business Relations department of Hessen Trade & Invest GmbH (HTAI) is seeking a service provider to assist the contracting authority in activities related to investor acquisition, foreign trade promotion, location marketing, the continuous development of the Hesse ASEAN strategy and multi-year priority planning. To be successful in the competition among international business locations, HTAI operates overseas offices in key regions. The goal of these overseas representations is to promote the economy of the state of Hesse on-site through activities in the areas of investor acquisition and foreign trade. This involves both attracting companies from these regions to settle or cooperate in Hesse and supporting Hesse companies in entering the market in the target region, as well as actively promoting the relationships of Hesse companies, clusters and networks in the target region. The ASEAN region is an important economic region for Hesse. Singapore, as an established economic hub in the entire region, as well as developing economies such as Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines or Indonesia, are the focus here. Hesse's direct presence in the form of an overseas office in the ASEAN region facilitates market access, promotes economic relations and contributes significantly to the above-mentioned goals. The overseas office is to compile market information for HTAI, carry out activities to acquire investors and implement measures to promote the foreign trade of Hesse companies. For the operation of the Hesse state's overseas representation in the ASEAN region, in-depth knowledge of the region and the German economy with its structures is a prerequisite. Furthermore, existing contacts and proximity to local and regional economic organisations are required. In addition, proven competencies and experience in the field of investor acquisition are necessary.
