Finland – Building completion work – Renovering av Närpes stadshus - eltekniska arbeten

Närpes stad (the contracting authority) requests an application to participate in the procurement of the renovation of Närpes stadshus – electrical works. The question concerns the renovation and reconstruction of an existing building. The contracting authority is tendering the building technical works as the main contractor. The contracting authority procures separately the electrical (EL) and HVAC (VVSA) works, which are subcontracted to the main contractor through subcontractor agreements. The renovation of Närpes stadshus takes place as a renovation of the existing building at the address Kyrkvägen 2, 64200 Närpes. A description of the contract is outlined in Annex D - Scope of Works. A more detailed description of the contract's content will be presented later in the procurement's tendering phase. The procurement is carried out as an EU procurement via a two-stage procedure with a restricted procedure. The construction contract is intended to start as soon as possible, but no earlier than after the procurement decision has entered into legal force and on the condition that budgeted funds have been granted for the purpose. For the total contract, Närpes stad has currently budgeted funds of 7,25 million €. The contracting authority reserves the right to terminate the procurement if the full council does not allocate sufficient funds for the project.
