Germany – Construction work for school buildings – Teilneubau der Sekundarschule und Neubau der Zweifeldsporthalle am Schulzentrum West in Geseke

The City of Geseke intends to partially rebuild the secondary school at the Schulzentrum West site. The secondary school at the Schulzentrum West site no longer meets the current requirements for modern pedagogy and has partly significant structural defects. The City of Geseke has therefore decided to rebuild the secondary school, with the exception of a building wing erected in 2015 at the southwest corner of the school, at the same location. In addition to the partial reconstruction for the secondary school, the construction of a two-court sports hall is also planned. The existing buildings on the site that need to be demolished for the partial reconstruction must be demolished by the contractor and the demolition materials disposed of professionally. The measures are planned on a property at "Auf den Strickern" street in 59590 Geseke, which is already owned by the City of Geseke. There is no land-use plan. The construction project is to be assessed under § 34 BauGB. A suitable contractor is being sought for the planning, construction, and selected building management services (operation) (building management only for the partial reconstruction of the secondary school). The contracting authority intends to implement the measure within the framework of a package contract/PPP concession model (plan, build, operate). The services required for the turnkey construction of the buildings, including the design of the outdoor facilities, are described in more detail below. The aim of this package contract is to construct and provide the buildings on the City of Geseke's property on time and in accordance with the contract.
