The Finnish Border Guard requests applications to participate in a procurement, the subject of which is the maintenance of the comprehensive Eastern Border Fence (hereinafter "Eastern Border Fence") of the Southeast Finland and North Karelia Border Guard stations, including, inter alia: - Ploughing and sanding, maintenance of road sections totalling approx. 284 km - Inspection, cleaning, repair and maintenance of road ditches - Shaping of road wear layers and graveling of wear layers - Installation of ploughing markers in autumn and removal in spring - Installation and maintenance of traffic signs and necessary signage - Ditch excavation, dredging and repair - Clearing of the western side of the road of vegetation - Removal and control of brush - Clearing of fallen trees from the fence and gaps - Maintenance painting of the fence and gates - Repair of other fence damages; vandalism, accident damage, storm damage repairs, repairs of damage caused by animals, etc. - Inspection, maintenance and repair of gates - Inspection, repair, annual maintenance, refuelling and BO tests for power outages of standby generators - Inspection, annual maintenance and repair of bridges - The service provider's 24/7 standby readiness - The service provider's operational readiness in emergency situations - The service provider must have a up-to-date monitoring and reporting system. The contracting authority will only accept applications to participate in this phase and will only request a separate tender invitation for tenders from participants selected as tenderers.
