For the areas, there was a preliminary ideas competition. This formed the basis of the draft development plan. The public areas marked therein are fixed. The boulevard and the neighbourhood square are to be designed as shared-space areas. Delimitations are to be implemented through various floor coverings. A high quality of space is to be created through seating options and shading elements, taking into account current climate requirements with as many unsealed areas as possible. Barrier-free passage must be possible. The entire facility must also be designed to be easily maintainable.
