Description

HUS (hereafter also the contracting entity or purchaser) invites applications to participate in the innovative procurement of a faecal capsule endoscopy device. The procurement will be carried out using the innovation partnership referred to in sections 38-39 of the Public Procurement Act. See the detailed description in Annex 2 Description of the Innovation Partnership Procedure. The subject of the procurement is the development of a faecal capsule endoscopy device and the procurement of the resulting device, possible device-related consumables and possible maintenance services. The aim of the procurement is to renew and enhance the current faecal removal care process by utilising new technology. The current care process, i.e. the faecal removal performed in connection with colonoscopy, is relatively expensive and burdensome for the patient. Treatment carried out with capsules would be significantly easier for the patient and the healthcare system to implement than treatment carried out through colonoscopy. The aim is to develop, through innovation partnership, a faecal capsule endoscopy device for this need, which the contracting entity could procure from its partner during the procurement process. A more detailed description of the subject of the procurement is in Annex 1 Description of the Subject of the Procurement. The procurement-related documents of the purchaser are available in Finnish. If a company wishes to have the procurement documents in another language, the translation and the costs incurred will be the responsibility of the company. The application for participation and the related documentation and clarifying questions must be submitted in Finnish. The annexes to this invitation to participate are: • ESPD form • Annex 3.1 Reference form • Annex 3.2 Team's capabilities for innovation • Annex 7 Summary of HUS Climate Map and the drafts of the following documents: • Annex 1 Description of the Subject of the Procurement • Annex 2 Description of the Innovation Partnership Procedure • Annex 4 Preliminary Request for Quotation • Annex 5 Preliminary Invitation to Negotiate • Annex 6.1 Development Agreement Draft • Annex 6.2 Procurement Agreement Draft • Annex 6.2.1 Consumables Agreement Draft • Annex 6.2.2 Maintenance Agreement Draft • Annexes 6.2.3-6.2.11 Agreement Draft Annexes • Annex 8 Technical Information on the Offered Medical Device The minimum requirements related to the subject of the procurement are described in Annex 1 Description of the Subject of the Procurement with a yellow background. These requirements will not be negotiated during the procurement process, and their content will not be changed, but they may be clarified. Otherwise, all the above-mentioned annexes are the contracting entity's views and documents, which will be changed and clarified during the procurement process. The final procurement documents will be defined in the final invitation to tender.
