The City of Hanau plans to expand the 2-track primary school in the district of Großauheim as part of the school development plan. The project includes the expansion and functional reorganisation of the school through a replacement new build for administration and the expansion of the all-day area. The school site, which covers a total of 10,387 m², currently has three freestanding buildings: the school building, the gym and the administration building. As part of the expansion, the construction of a separate new building according to the specified space programme is planned. The administration building is not to be retained. Planning for the construction work is to start in January 2027. Construction is to begin in the summer of 2027, with completion scheduled for mid-2029. The planning services ELT include:

- Low-voltage power system (System Group 440)

The entire school will be supplied by a new low-voltage main distribution board (NSHV) to be constructed. The cost planning for the low-voltage power system, including all necessary system components, is to be implemented. This includes: the dimensioning of cable and conduit routes, network calculation incl. detailed material list for the NSHV and sub-distributions. In addition, short circuit lengths of the final circuits and fire protection aspects should be taken into account in the design of the NSHV and sub-distributions. Energy-efficient lighting systems with lighting control are to be planned for all rooms and sections. A system with individual and central battery systems is to be provided for the emergency lighting. Classrooms, toilets, kitchens, etc. will receive electrical connections for supply. The building will receive an internal and external overvoltage and lightning protection system according to the specifications of the fire protection concept.

- Telecommunications (System Group 450)

For internal alarming in the event of danger, a building alarm system with area-wide alarming is to be planned (incl. connection to the existing control centre). The building will receive a structured network cabling in copper and fibre optic technology, as well as the preparation for the installation of building-side WLAN access points for area-wide coverage and connection options for classrooms. A public address system with intercoms is to be provided for announcements and break signals (incl. connection to the existing control centre).
