Poland – Domestic animal nurseries – Utrzymanie i zapewnienie opieki weterynaryjnej bezdomnym zwierzętom odłowionym z terenu Miasta Zduńska Wola w latach 2027 r. i 2028 r.

The subject of the contract is the maintenance and provision of veterinary care for stray animals caught in the area of the City of Zduńska Wola in the years 2027 and 2028. 1) providing premises for keeping stray animals in appropriate conditions: a) protected from the negative influence of atmospheric factors such as rain, snow, sun, wind; b) with adequate lighting; c) separating aggressive animals from those that do not exhibit such a trait; d) in one room, a maximum of two individuals of the opposite sex can be placed in the case of large animals, and up to four in the case of small animals; e) the room should contain masonry kennels and an exercise area for the animals; 2) ensuring that animals from the area of the City of Zduńska Wola are placed in boxes with animals of similar character traits, which will eliminate biting; 3) providing food for stray animals in a manner involving the supply of a daily portion of drinking water and food intended for animals, which will meet the nutritional needs of the given animal, in accordance with the applicable rules in this matter; 4) providing veterinary care for stray animals in a manner involving the taking of all necessary actions at any time to protect them from threats to their life and health, care and medical procedures, including castration, sterilization and euthanasia of blind litters, performed by a veterinarian; 5) keeping records of stray animals (register of stay) containing: a) a description of its appearance (e.g. breed, sex, size, coat), b) the date of its admission, c) the history of its stay (e.g. procedures, vaccinations, places of adoption, deaths, etc.); 6) keeping photographic documentation of stray animals and providing it upon each request of an employee authorized by the Contracting Authority; 7) keeping a register with box numbers and animal chip numbers located inside in order to ensure the possibility of quick identification; 8) providing veterinary care in cases specified by the Contracting Authority, which includes: a) conducting a 15-day quarantine of a given animal; b) administering pharmaceuticals to eliminate internal and external parasites; c) administering pharmaceuticals in the form of prophylactic vaccines according to the veterinarian's instructions for a given animal; d) vaccination against rabies - immediately after completion of quarantine; e) permanent marking, by implanting an electronic microchip under the animal's skin by a veterinarian immediately upon admission to the hotel/shelter; f) castration of an adult individual, if there are no contraindications from the veterinarian; 9) searching for and acquiring persons willing to care for stray animals (it is necessary to assess the predispositions of persons willing to adopt, to provide adopting persons with information about a given animal, the rules of care, its needs, habits and customs); 10) immediate notification of an employee authorized by the Contracting Authority during the working hours of the Technical Infrastructure Office about the provision of a service involving the removal of a stray animal from the City area to the hotel/shelter within no later than the next working day; 11) providing veterinary care to the animal in a manner involving the taking of all necessary actions at any time to counter threats to its life and health and the application of treatment to return to as full health and regain as full fitness as possible; 12) catching stray animals at the request of a person authorized by the Contracting Authority immediately, no later than two hours after notification by telephone from the area of the City of Zduńska Wola, and ensuring their transport in accordance with applicable legal provisions, in particular the use of devices and means not posing a threat to life, health, and not causing suffering to the caught animals. By catching an animal, it is understood to mean the catching of one animal, with the reservation that a bitch or a cat with a blind litter are treated as one animal. The Contracting Authority will not cover the costs of the Contractor related to the arrival upon request, in the event of failure to locate and catch the animal; 13) taming, caring for the appearance of the animal, including grooming the fur and preparing animals caught in the area of the City of Zduńska Wola for adoption, including conducting adoption campaigns through social media; 14) providing the Contracting Authority with a report on the tasks performed in the previous month (number of animals caught in the area of the City of Zduńska Wola with indication of the persons reporting, the street and the date of their catching); 15) systematic placement of a photograph of the caught animal on the websites and social media portals conducted by it with indication of the date and place of catching; 16) ensuring the availability of the service for persons interested in the adoption of animals from the shelter or the collection of a lost animal by the owner obligatorily: - from Monday to Friday from 9:00-15:00, - on Saturdays from 9:00-12:00, In the case of a declaration in the offer: - from Monday to Friday from 9:00-18:00, - on Saturdays from 9:00-15:00,
