The municipality of Roosendaal has had municipal public camera surveillance in the city centre since 2005, based on Article 151C of the Municipalities Act. The locations are distributed throughout the municipality and based on past nuisance, crime, and public order problems, as well as the expected nuisance in the future. The camera images are monitored from the police station at Nieuwstraat 6, Roosendaal. The server, where the camera images are securely stored, is also located there. The municipality intends to enter into an agreement with a supplier that: A. can supply and install a new and professional camera system. B. In addition, a service and maintenance agreement (hereinafter referred to as SLA) must be entered into to keep and/or bring the entire camera system into optimal condition.
