Description

Structure Improvement Expansion Klinikum Garmisch-Partenkirchen - Technical Equipment Planning ELT LPH 5 – 9 // The Klinikum Garmisch-Partenkirchen is planning to improve its structure by expanding the existing main hospital building to the south through a new construction project (Section 8) to improve infrastructure and nursing capacities. The new building will be a six-storey structure with an option to add up to three more storeys later. Construction will take place in the area of the existing chapel, which will be demolished for this purpose. The connection to the existing building will be primarily at the same level. This will require structural and technical adaptations, as well as reorganisations and changes in use within the existing building; freed-up spaces will be adapted and assigned new uses. The measure includes clearing the construction site, demolition work, enclosure and adaptation work on existing supply structures, the construction of the new building Section 8, connection work to the existing structure, reorganisations within the existing building, and measures to maintain hospital operations during the construction period. The new building will house building services, a kitchen, delivery area, disposal areas, a transformer station, low-voltage main distributions (AV/SV), and emergency power supply in the basement. The upper floors will accommodate offices, laboratory areas, intensive care, geriatric use, as well as on-call and patient rooms. A photovoltaic system will be installed on the roof. A connecting corridor to a new energy centre will be created. The electrical supply to the hospital will be provided from the medium-voltage grid of the municipal utilities Garmisch-Partenkirchen. As part of the measure, a new energy centre with a medium-voltage transfer point will be built and connected to Section 8 and existing power supply systems. The power supply to Section 8 will be radial from new LVS systems in the TN system. The telecommunications equipment meets the requirements of a modern hospital. To ensure the supply, a new emergency power supply system with a capacity of approximately 1,600 kVA will be installed in the basement of Section 8 and connected to the existing emergency power supply of the hospital. Space for a future expansion of the energy and emergency power supply will be provided. -- The subject of the contract are the services of the technical equipment planning ELT LPH 5 – 9 according to HOAI 2021. The contract will be awarded in stages according to § 55 HOAI. In the event of an award, the first stage 1, the performance phases 5, 6 and 7 will be commissioned. The client will decide on any further commissioning of the performance stages in the further course of the procedure. No claims for the transfer of further performance stages or further services can be derived from the staged commissioning. -- Planning is to begin promptly after the contract award, scheduled for May 2026. The start of construction for Section 8 is planned for November 2027, with commissioning scheduled for February 2031. The special services are designed as options that the client can call upon, but is not obligated to do so. -- The contract will be based on the Certiform /Boorberg contract template.
