Sweden – Artistic and literary creation and interpretation services – Konstnärlig gestaltning Nybrogatan

Härnösands kommun and Statens konstråd are collaborating on an artistic design assignment in connection with the reconstruction of Nybrogatan in Härnösand. The upgrading of Nybrogatan is an important part of a larger urban transformation project, in which the municipality, among other things, is building a new opening bridge (Nybron) between the mainland and Härnön, reviewing green spaces and upgrading several other streets in the centre of Härnösand. The aim is to strengthen Nybrogatan as a boulevard and meeting place in an inclusive, lively and readable urban space that not only functions as a transport route, but as an expression of Härnösand's identity and constant movement.
