Germany – Telecommunications services – Planung, Errichtung und Betrieb eines Gigabit-Netzes Stadt Neuenstein – Wirtschaftlichkeitslücke

The contracting authority plans to supply the eligible connections according to the Gigabit Guideline 2.0 through a gigabit-capable network based on FTTB technology by awarding a grant to a network operator (viability gap). The aim is to eliminate remaining grey areas. The project is to be funded by a grant from the Federal Government for a viability gap model according to No. 3.1 of the Directive "Promotion to support the gigabit expansion of telecommunications networks in the Federal Republic of Germany" of 31.03.2023, as amended on 13.01.2025 (Gigabit Guideline 2.0), and according to the "Administrative Regulation of the Ministry of the Interior on the co-financing of the Federal Directive 'Promotion to support the gigabit expansion of telecommunications networks in the Federal Republic of Germany' (VwV Gigabit Co-Financing)".
