Netherlands – Cowsheds construction work – Realisatie EVA-stal Dairy Campus - heraanbesteding 2026

This procedure concerns a retendering of a previously published procurement procedure for the realisation of the EVA-stable. As a result, the tender documents, including this guide, have been revised and adapted in parts. Dairy Campus in Leeuwarden is the national research and innovation centre for dairy farming of Wageningen Livestock Research (WLR), part of Stichting Wageningen Research (WR). Here, science, business and education work together on practical and sustainable solutions for the dairy sector with a focus on, among other things, smart farming, emission reduction, biodiversity and circular energy. To maintain its role as a leading expertise centre, the realisation of a new, emission-free and autonomous stable (EVA-stable) is necessary. The EVA-stable forms a next step in the development of a future-oriented dairy farming and provides space for research, demonstration and innovation in the field of emission reduction, animal welfare, labour efficiency and circular energy supply. With the construction of the EVA-stable, WR aims to: - develop and test new techniques and systems for emission-free dairy farming; - share knowledge with farmers, researchers and businesses; - and contribute to the sustainability of the Dutch dairy sector. This non-open procurement procedure aims to select one coordinating Main Contractor who is responsible for the construction realisation of the EVA-stable and the coordination of other specialised parts on the basis of a Specification drawn up by the Procuring Entity and its advisors.
