Germany – Railway tunnel construction work – Erneuerung des Tunnels Ruppertsberg und der Verkehrsstation Jossa

DB InfraGO AG, RB Mitte, intends to renew the Ruppertsberg Tunnel and the Jossa Traffic Station as part of the Container Measure "Line 3825". This tender concerns the planned widening of the tunnel (L=321m) in full renewal from approximately 50 m² to approximately 80 m² in cross-section. At the Jossa Traffic Station, the central platform will be dismantled. The island platform will be adapted to RIL standards and two new outer platforms will be built. Furthermore, the station will be equipped with a pedestrian underpass (PU). The renewal will take place within an 18-month full closure of the line.
