Germany – Paving and asphalting works – Halde Hoheward, Horizontobservatorium, Herten - Sanierung - Tiefbau- und Pflasterarbeiten

The RVR plans the professional demolition of the Horizontobservatorium on the Hoheward spoil tip in Herten. As part of these works, inter alia, paving areas are to be removed, foundations are to be exposed or newly created. Furthermore, a construction road is to be set up and individual ramps are to be created. The scope of services also includes the necessary temporary modification of drainage and drainage lines. After completion of the demolition works, the removed areas are to be restored. The works are scheduled to be carried out in winter 2026 and to be completed by mid-2027 at the latest. The exact dates are to be coordinated in consultation with the contracting authority. The services are to be carried out by companies with proven experience in the fields of road construction, civil engineering and/or garden and landscape construction.
