Contract description: The contract involves the modernisation of the operational ecosystem of AENA, which includes the implementation of new technologies and the improvement of existing ones, with the aim of optimising the management and operation of the airports managed by AENA. The project includes the following main components:

1. Implementation of new technologies: This includes the deployment of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and the Internet of Things (IoT) to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of airport operations. The technologies will be integrated into the existing systems to ensure seamless operation and data exchange.

2. Improvement of existing technologies: This involves upgrading and enhancing the current technologies used in airport operations to meet the latest standards and requirements. This includes software updates, hardware upgrades, and the implementation of new protocols and procedures.

3. Development of new applications and tools: This includes the creation of new software applications and tools to support the operational needs of AENA. These applications will be designed to improve the user experience, enhance operational efficiency, and provide real-time data and analytics.

4. Training and support: This includes providing training to AENA staff on the use of new and existing technologies, as well as ongoing support to ensure the smooth operation of the modernised ecosystem. This will include user manuals, training sessions, and technical support.

The contract will be awarded to the bidder that offers the best value for money, taking into account the quality, cost, and delivery time of the proposed solution.

The estimated value of the contract is EUR 5,000,000.

The deadline for the submission of tenders is 15 October 2024.
