France – Architectural, construction, engineering and inspection services – Missions de maîtrise d' oeuvre relatives à l'aménagement de la voie verte Via Combrailles dans le département du Puy-de-Dôme

The Via Combrailles greenway project is based on the opportunity to reuse an old, now disused railway line between the communes of Sauret-Besserve and Lapeyrouse. A tourist enhancement study of this railway line was carried out as early as 2016 by the Syndicat Mixte pour l'Aménagement et le Développement (SMAD) of the Combrailles and the Communauté de Communes du Pays de Saint-Eloy. In 2023, the Région Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes decided to take on the project management of the project until its completion, in a logic of economic and tourist development of the territory. The Via Combrailles is not directly on the national cycling routes but long-term connections could be envisaged in a logic of regional networking. In this sense, the project also includes a branch to the West as far as Pionsat which will use small roads and rural paths. The Via Combrailles is located exclusively in the department of Puy-de-Dôme. It crosses about ten communes grouped in a single EPCI, the Communauté de Communes du Pays de Saint-Eloy. Procedure for award: Negotiated procedure. Use of the negotiated procedure when the contract includes design services (3° of article R. 2124-3 of the CCP).
