The district town of Eichstätt plans to build a new fire station for the volunteer fire department at the "Freiwasser" site. As part of the measure, specialist planning services for the technical equipment are to be awarded for the following plant groups:

• KG 410 Sewage, water and gas systems

• KG 420 Heating systems

• KG 430 Ventilation systems

• KG 470 Specialised systems

The measure includes a fire station with a vehicle hall, wash hall, workshops, breathing apparatus workshop, changing rooms, sanitary areas, training and administrative rooms, as well as the associated technical and outdoor areas. The planned gross floor area is approximately 2,170 m². Special requirements exist for the specialised systems of the fire technology, in particular in the area of the breathing apparatus workshop (KG 470) with associated compressed air, testing, cleaning, hygiene and storage areas. Furthermore, the black-white separation, washing and decontamination areas, hose care and the safeguarding of operational capability as critical infrastructure must be taken into account in the planning. The technical equipment should generally be designed to be economical and robust. An energy-efficient and low-maintenance building operation with as simple a technical standard as possible ("Low-Tech") is envisaged, as far as this is compatible with the fire technology requirements. Compact technical systems, the lowest possible operating and maintenance costs and a high level of operational safety are sought. The question of the type of heat generation/heating should be clarified economically during the planning process. Due to the location at Freiwasser, requirements for flood and operational protection must be included in the planning at an early stage. Planned project schedule (preliminary):

• Start of planning: IV. Quarter 2026

• Submission of building application: II. Quarter 2027

• Tendering of construction services: from IV. Quarter 2027

• Scheduled start of construction: I. Quarter 2028

• Scheduled completion/start of operation: beginning/middle of 2030

The services of the specialist planning for the technical equipment are to be awarded according to § 55 HOAI in stages. The commissioning is for phases 1-9 in stages. There is no entitlement to the commissioning of further stages.
