Netherlands – Construction work for art and cultural buildings – Bouwteam Sociaal Cultureel Centrum Pijnacker

In the centre of Pijnacker, a new Social and Cultural Centre is being developed. The centre will house, among other things, a library, music school, theatre groups, and dance school, and will provide course rooms and workplaces. The new centre is intended to give a quality boost to the city centre. The location makes this a complex project, right in the city centre with heavy foot traffic and close to a school. Meanwhile, the Definitive Design (DO) is already being finalised and the project needs to be tendered for realisation. The municipality intends to select a construction partner for further development of the design, demolition, and new construction. This guide describes how the development of the Social and Cultural Centre in Pijnacker (hereafter: the Work) will be tendered.
