The subject of the procurement is the "lightweight bolt gun" component of the IED Special Forces Tool Kit (WzS IED SpezKr) project. The overall project aims to provide the Special Forces Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) teams and specialized forces of the Bundeswehr with the capability to counter improvised explosive devices (IEDs). At the same time, the tool kit is intended to support mobility during operations and the remote removal of obstacles and booby traps.
