Germany – Surveillance and security systems and devices – Lieferung, Installation und Inbetriebnahme von Körperscannern in den Justizvollzugseinrichtungen des Landes Sachsen-Anhalt

The subject of the contract is the supply, professional installation and commissioning of 3 body scanners based on millimetre waves, including shoe scanners, for use in enclosed spaces within JVA Burg, JVA Halle and JA Raßnitz in accordance with the requirements profile under Section XIV of the specification. The system is used for the non-contact, automatic detection of potentially hazardous objects of any kind (metallic, ceramic, plastic, liquid, organic) that may be carried on the body or in the clothing of inmates, visitors or staff. The following are defined as components of the contract: • Supply of a total of three body scanners in accordance with the requirements profile under Section XIV, one for each of JVA Burg, JVA Halle and JA Raßnitz, • professional installation and assembly, measurement, calibration, connection to the power supply and handover ready for operation, • comprehensive training of JVA/JA operating personnel (multiplier training) centrally at JVA Halle for at least 10 staff, • handover of the complete technical documentation and • a maintenance and service contract with a duration of four years, including the DGUV-V3 inspection to be carried out. All applicable EU and national standards (e.g. Radiation Protection Act, EMV directives) must be complied with and the necessary certifications must be provided.
