The Netherlands Institute for Vectors, Invasive Plants and Plant Health (NIVIP) is a laboratory and knowledge institute for plant health. NIVIP is a part of the Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA) and is located at Geertjesweg 15 in Wageningen. The entire complex will be adapted and renovated over the coming years so that it is a future-proof complex that meets the changed user requirements and the Routekaart 2.0 of the Dutch Government Property Agency. In a series of the various tenders in the coming years, this tender is for the design of the renovation of the Main Building and Quarantine Lab including temporary accommodation. NIVIP employees will stay in this temporary accommodation on site during the renovation of the relevant building section. This, as needed, is an office space and/or laboratory space. The main building and the quarantine lab provide space for laboratories, offices (incl. meeting rooms), a restaurant and other supporting functions. Table 1 provides an overview of the current net floor area per function. The functions in the building remain the same during the renovation. However, there is a need for more laboratories, so (parts of) office floors will be renovated into laboratory spaces. Area: Approximately 6000 m2 nvo (excluding temporary accommodation)
