The procurement concerns the removal of organic digestate from the storage tank of the bio-refinery owned by Metsäsairila Oy (Kiertotaloudenkatu 18, 50800 Mikkeli). A suction truck, meeting the Euro VI emission standards, is required for the removal of the digestate. The tender documents must include a free-form file detailing the basic information about the equipment used to provide the service (brand, year, euro classification, tank volume, number of axles, emissions). The digestate is an organic soil improver that meets the requirements set by the Finnish Food Authority for use as a fertilizer. The digestate has not been separated and has a dry matter content of approximately 11.5%. The production of digestate is continuous, with approximately 3 800 - 5 500 tonnes produced annually. The most recent product description, compiled from samples taken at the end of 2025, has been added to this tender as an attachment. A more recent product description is not available because the reactor has been out of production due to maintenance work throughout the past summer. Since digestate is produced continuously, its removal is also continuous. The removal of digestate is carried out upon order, with the service provider having 1 week to collect the product from the storage tank. The storage tank, with a capacity of approximately 750 t of digestate, is emptied once or operated in another mutually agreed manner. The service provider must cover all costs related to the tender and the removal of the digestate. Responsibility for the product and its management is transferred to the service provider once it has been moved from the storage tank to the suction truck. The service must be available immediately at the start of the contract period.
