The Klinikverbund Allgäu GmbH plans the construction of the replacement new building - building part F (= construction section 8) at the Klinikum Kempten.----------------------------------------The Klinikum Kempten is a specialist hospital with eleven main departments, five private departments and several certified, interdisciplinary centers. Approximately 30,000 inpatients are treated annually. The existing "F-building" (building part F) at the northern end of the medical campus has the building substance of the construction years 1960 – 1965 with various younger renovations, installations and extensions. A comprehensive renovation has not been carried out. The building does not meet today's requirements and the necessary space requirements in terms of substance and use. In addition, structural, functional and hygienic deficiencies give cause for the planning of a new building. Furthermore, the construction project includes the renewal of the entire energy supply of the Klinikum Kempten campus, various interim measures and the creation of the connections to the building complex.
