Description

The Zweckverband der 12 Gemeinden des ehemaligen Amtes Thronecken plans to carry out the energy renovation of the Kindertagesstätte Regenbogen in Thalfang. As part of the planned renovation, the Kindertagesstätte is to be aligned with the Effizienzhausstandard 70. This is to be achieved, on the one hand, by improving the building envelope through insulation measures and, on the other hand, by renewing the heat generation, distribution and transfer. It is planned to bring the entire building envelope to the energy level of a new building through suitable insulation measures. This requires that all components adjacent to the outside air be enhanced in terms of their thermal transmittance values beyond the requirements of the Building Energy Act (GEG). The following measures are planned for this purpose: - Insulation of the facade with 18cm insulation material in the thermal conductivity group 035, - Replacement of all windows with triple-glazed windows, - Insulation of the roof with a combination of intermediate and over-rafter insulation, - Insulation of the flat roof, - Room-side insulation of the floor slabs. The outer walls adjacent to the soil should also be significantly improved, provided the cost-benefit factor is profitable. As part of the energy renovation, the plant engineering is also to be modernised. To this end, the existing heating system is to be completely converted to heat generation via a heat pump, which transfers the heat generated to the underfloor heating system. Renewable energy for heating is to be used in the future by means of ground probes, which supply the heat pump. This system is also intended to be used for cooling in the future. Furthermore, it is planned to completely renew the heat distribution and transfer. A modern and intelligently controlled underfloor heating system is to ensure low heat consumption. In this context, the lower building closure, the floor slab, is also to be improved energetically. The screed must be removed due to the installation of the underfloor heating, which offers the opportunity to use modern, well-insulated floor structures. In addition, the electricity requirement of the building is to be covered to a large extent by a photovoltaic system in the future. The measure is funded from public funds. An application for funding (EFRE) has been submitted, which has already been approved with the consequence that the specifications of the concept for the energy calculation of the planned renovation, the EFRE funding call and the specifications of the grant notification must be implemented in a binding manner for planning and construction. The cost focus of the renovations is on the building-side energy renovation measures, i.e. on facade insulation, roof/upper storey ceiling insulation, floor slab/cellar ceiling/cellar wall insulation, replacement of windows/exterior doors/post-and-rail facades (plus expenditure for summer heat protection possibly in the form of a combined solution via the windows), for necessary building automation, control and regulation as well as air conditioning systems, according to the specifications of the grant notification. The specifications of the EFRE grant notification are binding and mandatory.
