Germany – Technical planning services – Umsetzung Transformationsplan Fernwärme: Maßnahmepaket Planungsleistung für die Errichtung und Inbetriebnahme einer Wärmepumpe LPH 5-8

The LSW operate a district heating network in Wolfsburg with a pipeline length of almost 655 km and supply approximately 16,000 customers with a peak load of approximately 320 MW. This involves delivering approximately 650 GWh/a of heat to the customers. The network currently operates with a sliding supply temperature between 120°C and 80°C. The return temperatures currently average approximately 60°C annually. For this network, LSW has created a c in accordance with the requirements of the Bundesförderung effiziente Wärmenetze (BEW). By implementing the transformation plan, climate neutrality will be achieved by 2045. In accordance with the BEW requirements, the measures to be implemented in the transformation plan are divided into four-year comprehensive measure packages. In the first measure package, LSW intends to implement the following measures:

- Temperature reduction (not a performance element of this tender; serves only for information purposes, as the implementation will be carried out entirely by the AG on its own initiative)

- Construction of a heat pump at the Wolfsburg wastewater treatment plant

- Construction of feeder, reinforcement, and network connection lines.
