No deadline given

Description

The town of Donauwörth plans the comprehensive renovation of the Invalidenkaserne (Pflegstraße 24). The elongated two-storey building with a gable roof, curved gables, and a continuous, partially boarded arcade on the courtyard side was built in 1715/16 as a barracks for 400 men. From 1803, the barracks were used as an invalid home, and from 1805 as a hospital. Today, the Invalidenkaserne is a residential building with 18 residential units and the clubhouse of the Soldaten- und Kameradschaftsverein Donauwörth. The Invalidenkaserne is a listed monument (file number D-7-79-131-51) and is to be fundamentally renovated. Exclusive residential use is planned for the property in the future. The total costs (LOT 200-600) are currently estimated at 6.0 million EUR gross. Possible funding programs will be examined and developed as part of the planning process. A detailed description can be found in the tender documents - Appendix 01.
