No procurement of a service is taking place. The sale of the district heating network of the city of Sebnitz is taking place in a structured tendering procedure. The district heating system "Am Knöchel" in Sebnitz is a municipal heating supply infrastructure operated since 2014 and owned by the Technologie- und Gewerbezentrum Sebnitz (TGZS GmbH), a 100% subsidiary of the city of Sebnitz. The operation of the district heating plant is carried out by eins energie in Sachsen GmbH & Co. KG on the basis of a lease contract running until the end of 2026. With the imminent expiry of this lease contract, a strategic decision is pending. Against this background, there are considerations to sell the district heating plant upon expiry of the lease contract on 31.12.2026. The transfer is scheduled to take place on 01.01.2027.
