Denmark – Optical instruments – Rammeaftale vedrørende levering og vedligeholdelse af elektrooptiske systemer

Forsvarsministeriets Materiel- og IndkøbsstyrelseDenmarkPublished on Jul 07, 2026
Deadline passed

Description

The Danish Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation (FMI) is awarding a framework agreement for the supply and maintenance of electro-optical systems for use in the Coast Guard and Navy Home Guard's boats, which are primarily to be used to locate persons in the water in connection with rescue operations, but also to be used for, among other things, navigation in reduced visibility and ship inspections. Electro-optical systems (EO) are digital camera systems, most of which consist of a standard daylight camera, as well as a secondary thermal camera, which measures thermal radiation, and therefore can be used without light to identify objects. FMI's procurement of the electro-optical systems includes a lightweight system, a medium-range system and a long-range system. The tendered Framework Agreement involves both the procurement and installation of the electro-optical systems in the Defence's vessels, but also the maintenance of the systems as well as training of the Defence's personnel in the use and maintenance of the systems.
