The Max-Planck-Gesellschaft zur Förderung der Wissenschaften e.V. (MPG) is a non-profit research organisation predominantly funded by public funds. It currently operates and maintains 84 institutes and other research facilities of varying size, structure, and remit across Germany, primarily dedicated to fundamental research in the natural and humanities sciences. The contractor to be appointed (AN) will act as a so-called "construction external site for building construction" with services for building construction and external facilities (construction external site for building construction), primarily with services for the respective building maintenance of the contractor's (AG) properties. The AN supports the institute/facility of the MPG and the building department with building maintenance measures within the framework of building maintenance. Building maintenance is carried out in accordance with the guidelines of the MPG and the provisions of the contract. The subject of the services to be awarded is, in accordance with the service spectrum of object planning with care services for conversions in the existing building stock, building maintenance measures, renovation work and construction measures in existing laboratory and institute buildings of the MPG. In individual cases, the AN may also be commissioned with services for individual construction measures. The contract to be awarded includes services of LPH 2-9 in accordance with § 34 ff. HOAI 2021, i.e. the planning and execution of the trades in building construction with presence and coordination obligation of the engineering offices. All construction measures are carried out in the existing building stock and during ongoing research operations. In this context, the Max-Planck-Gesellschaft not only attaches importance to the fact that the tenderers for Lots 1-31 can demonstrate profound knowledge in the field of laboratory planning, but also have experience in carrying out renovation measures during ongoing operations. Specific professional requirements: The building maintenance measures in laboratories, offices and experimental special areas, conversions in the existing building stock, renovation work and individual construction measures are to be provided at the individual institutes simultaneously and within one year. Within the framework of the presentation, the contractor shall demonstrate to the contractor planning and implementation competencies in the following aspects: • Renovations, modernisations, conversions • Conversions, extensions, extensions, partly listed buildings • Façade renovations • Concrete renovations • Energy-efficient renovations • Measures to preserve the building substance • Laboratory buildings during "ongoing operations" The tenderers declare with the submission of a participation request that they are able to provide the services within the period mentioned below and that they have the necessary professional, personnel and material resources for this purpose. Remuneration is by a lump sum fee. Contract start: Est. 01.01.2027. The list of the individual lots and the institutes contained therein can be found in Annex 01 of the tender documents.
