Netherlands – Construction work for highways, roads – Aanleg N656 - Randweg Oud-Vossemeer

The Province of Zeeland is starting the realisation of a new bypass on the southern side of Oud-Vossemeer. This will be a new link in the N656 between Tholen (town) and Sint Philipsland. This will give traffic safety and flow a boost. The current through route through Oud-Vossemeer is no longer sufficient. With the Bypass, it will be quieter and safer in the village and traffic can flow better around the village. The Province has set the following three objectives for the project: • Improve liveability and traffic safety in Oud-Vossemeer • Improve accessibility of the Klaverveld business park • Improve flow of through (freight) traffic N656.
