Netherlands – Soil-decontamination work – Bodemsanering - Gemeente Zaanstad

The objective of this tender is to contract a contractor who will effectively and competently carry out the soil remediation within Hofwijk Noord, such that the risks of mobile and volatile contamination are removed. The result is a safe and sustainably arranged site with a clean top layer, minimal aftercare and the lifting of any associated use restrictions and registrations. The work consists mainly of: • The demolition of remaining foundations • The cleaning and clearing of the site • The installation of dam walls • The application of safety measures for the work • The excavation and removal of contaminated soil • The excavation and reorganisation of soil to be retained • The application of a top layer • The dismantling of the groundwater purification installation See tender documents. The estimated volume is: • approximately 20,000 m2 cleaned site • approximately 450 m1 temporary dam wall • approximately 25,000 m³ contaminated soil • approximately 45,000 m3 supply and application of clean soil.
