The municipality of Vallendar intends to transform an existing commercial hall into a new fire station through renovation, and plans to outsource the associated planning services. The existing building was originally used as a commercial hall and is to be functionally, technically and aesthetically converted into a modern fire station, making extensive use of the existing building fabric. The aim is to accommodate the fire department in a needs-oriented manner, including a vehicle hall, wash hall, workshops, storage areas, training room, as well as social, changing and sanitary facilities, taking into account the relevant planning and funding guidelines for fire stations.
