Belgium – Financial and insurance services – Assurance RC Exploitation/Protection juridique et RC Médicale

§ 1. Purpose of the services: Insurance contract for Liability (RC) Exploitation/Legal Protection and Medical Liability (RC Médicale) of the Centre Hospitalier de Wallonie Picarde (CHwapi). 1. The present contract is a services contract for insurance, which falls under CPV code 66000000-0. The contract is for the award of the following insurance components: - Component 1: Liability (RC) Exploitation and Legal Protection Insurance of the Hospital - Component 2: Medical Professional Liability Insurance (RC Médicale) of the CHwapi The technical specifications to which the services must comply are set out in the technical clauses of the special technical specifications (the latter will be attached to the invitation to tender, which will be sent to the selected candidates). 2. There is no division into lots. Bidders must therefore submit an offer for both of the aforementioned components. § 2. Important notice: It is already specified that only insurance companies approved by the National Bank of Belgium, for one or more insurance branches covered by this contract pursuant to the law of 13 March 2016 on the status and supervision of insurance or reinsurance companies, will be selected for this contract. Applications submitted by or with insurance brokers or other insurance intermediaries will be excluded, as the contracting authority has already appointed its insurance consultant/broker following a separate procedure in the person of the office DEGAUQUIER AND PARTNERS (FSMA no. 45523A).
